On August 2, 2020 Igor Tsependa – PIMReC Project Coordinator, Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Volodymyr Chernetskyy – Head of the Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk region made a site visit to the Observatory building and conducted inspection meeting.

At this moment, according to the settled construction plan internal and external repair works on the premises of the observatory are being conducted. During the meeting inspectors checked the beginning of the first stage of premises renovation  declared in the project plans, discussed possible risks and ways to overcome them. All repair works in the observatory building are conducted within project «Adaptation of former observatory on the Pip Ivan mountain to the needs of alpine rescue service training center» (PIMReC) and implemented with the financial support of the European Union within the Cross-border Cooperation Program Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020.
