PIMReC Round Table in the University of Warsaw

On December 08, the third Round Table, devoted to discussion of PIMReC Project “Adaptation of former observatory on the Pipe Ivan mountain to the needs of alpine rescue service training center” implementation and its influence on development of tourism business and cross-border territories took place in the University of Warsaw. The project is implemented under financial assistance of the European Union – the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020.

Joint training in rope techniques and evacuation from difficult accessible places in rocky areas in Ukraine

On December 2-5, 2021 training with partners from Ukraine took place Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine. It is another training in the series of joint training under the project “Adaptation of former observatory on the Pip Ivan mountain to the needs of alpine rescue service training center” (PIMReC).

Project Experience and Results were shared at PBU Programme capitalization meeting

Partners of the Project “Adaptation of former observatory on Pip Ivan mountain to the needs of alpine rescue service training center“ (PIMReC) participated in virtual capitalization meeting of the cross-border cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020. It was devoted to the topic of safety and priority “Solving of mutual safety issues”.

Training in rope techniques and evacuation from difficult accessible places PL

11-14th November, a training was held for mountain rescuers from Poland and Ukraine in rope techniques and evacuation from hard-to-reach places in Sanok (PL). This action will increase their professional skills and improve their reaction time. During the training, the equipment purchased from the project was used, which will also be needed during the real rescue operations.
