Joint training in rope techniques and evacuation from difficult accessible places in rocky areas in Ukraine

On December 2-5, 2021 training with partners from Ukraine took place Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine. It is another training in the series of joint training under the project “Adaptation of former observatory on the Pip Ivan mountain to the needs of alpine rescue service training center” (PIMReC).

Eight rescuers from Poland (Mountain Volunteer Search and Rescue Bieszczady Group) and ten from Ukraine (Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk region) participated in the training.

The training and the equipment used during this training became possible thanks to the financial assistance of the European Union, under the ENI CBC Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020.
