Regular PIMReC Steering Committee Meeting was held.

The Partners discussed amendments to the budget and description of the project to be made and submitted to the Joint Technical Secretariat by the end of July. Project Coordinator – Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University – Igor Tsependa mentioned that “special attention shall be paid to search and purchase of meteorological station that will comply with the tasks, assigned to the Partners”.

Plan for the next 4 months was considered and the following was determined:

1) training, planned to be conducted by GOPR in July within the territory of Poland shall be shifted to the end of August, when all Ukrainian rescuers have all vaccinations done;

2) Info Day for 1000 participants will be held by GOPR in August 2021 in regular mode, involving representatives of all the partners;

3) Round Table Meeting to be conducted by the University of Warsaw, is shifted to December 2021 and will be held in regular mode. All the project results will be clear and they will be ready for public presentation;

4) Two last Coordination Meetings are planned to be conducted in December 2021 and in the beginning of February 2022 in regular mode for all the project Partners.

Construction works commenced in June 2021 due to fact that in May it was snowing at Pip Ivan mountain and the weather conditions were unfavorable for restoration and construction works. There is slight delay in following the schedule, but the Contractor assured that all the works would be completed in time.

Two more meetings of Infrastructural Group Unit were held on June 27, 2021 and July 14, 2021. During the first meeting plan of works for this year was discussed and the second meeting was dedicated to revision of works done within one month, determination of problems and risks, as well as discussion of ways for their solution.
